Compliance Business & Data Analyst - 
 Services to be provided and tasks to be completed:
  • Coordinate PA dealing project tasks with Compliance, and Technology groups.
  • Document existing data flows and architecture, as needed
  • Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders
  • Prioritize immediate business needs
  • Coordinate with the business on completion of the business requirement documentation
  • Create functional documents
  • Coordinate and maintain technical data documentations with the technical team
  • Document meeting minutes
  • Elicit requirements and refine scope
  • Create WBS
  • Identify data discrepancies in existing systems
  • Work with ITEC to identify automated/manual processes to resolve data issues
  • Perform data analysis ,data quality and data completeness exercise
  • Create test cases based on specific user requirements
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients on User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase
  • Communicate, escalate, and update clients on status (issues, action plans, etc.
  • Ensure sign-offs are documented and hand-off to operational team is secured
  • Gain a strong understanding of the end-to-end systems related to PAD project
  • Translate technical constraints and issues to a non-technical audience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Participates in the design, integration, and organization of technical solutions
  • Manage the scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle development phases
  • Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis
  • Train and document IT (support and development IT team) on new business required changes
  • Provide status reports to Management regarding progress, issues, and risks related to the projects being coordinated as directed by the project manager.
 Description of the skills/knowledge/expertise required :
  •  Minimum 5+ years of business analyst experience with investment banking and compliance technology.
  • Experience in drafting detailed Business Requirement Document, Functional requirement document, system design document, architecture and workflows
  • Experience working with databases and SQL, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize and understand data
  • Proven business analysis skills, including functional specifications for compliance / regulatory reporting
  • Excellent problem solving capabilities
  • Experience working on large IT projects and systems implementations
  • Familiar with Agile methodology
  • Good communication skills, with proven ability to coordinate initiatives across compliance and IT teams
  • Ability to multi-task effectively to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to changing environment/demands
Environment Role to be played by the consultant/contractor:
  • Business Analyst to analyze existing process, business requirements logic, and data flows.
  • Identify current data issues and work with ITEC to resolve them prior to the vendor tool implementation
