The hiring manager is looking for a strong creative writing skill set, with visual design experience pushing beyond copywriting
Infographix experience is nice to have
Email/Intranet experience, no video experience required
Internal/Corporate Communications experience is required.
Someone from a university/college or smaller company will not have a transferable skill set.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment. 5-7 projects concurrently (at various stages, some that are quick hits, others that are robust long term internal campaigns).
Fridays are best for interviews between 3-5pm.
Only contract - this will not convert.

Summary: Communications Management and Execution – Develops and executes communications planning efforts for assigned projects/programs. This includes integration of strategy, connecting dots to deliver compelling messages and communications plans. Create visually appealing, easy to read and understand communications that are advancing company strategy.
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience - preferred. 5+ years experience in copywriting, creative development/design, and editing. Skills and Competencies: Ability to organize, manage time, and work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, Quark, InDesign. Photoshop and Illustrator a plus. Ability to translate complex technical information into simple, straightforward, easy-to-understand messages. Proven clarity and creativity in all forms of communication. Effectively coordinate and interface with various departments. Ability to take direction and produce quality work in a limited timeframe. Provide creative and innovative ideas. Communicate professionally both written and orally, internally and externally. Must have a strong command of the English language written and oral. Coordinate multiple tasks within established timelines. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the production of marketing materials and writes creative copy. Develop creative executions from idea to full rollout execution. Assist company employees at all levels with the development of materials for various company projects in accordance with acceptable internal specifications. Ensure that any and all corporate design standards are adhered to and made part of, all work that is created internally or by outside vendors. Experience in a graphic software programs to accomplish these tasks is desired. Partner with marketing staff to produce materials that meet corporate objectives and are effective with target audiences. Create copy and ensure updates are made to websites. Assist in creative development, logistics, and distribution of materials for sales meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
