Implementation Manager -NY, NY

As a member of the Client's Client Management team, your goal will be to assist the Front Office sales team along with the respective CORI/GLFI/MARK bankers in relationship management activities focused on their portfolio of large corporate clients by providing consistent, high quality client service and support to achieve high client satisfaction and loyalty.  The implementation manager (IM) will gain exposure to Transaction Banking, Markets and product originations. The position will evolve to increased responsibility if warranted. 
The IM will manage implementations and contact points to ensure the successful client implementation of US and/or International cash management solutions. To ensure products and services are delivered in a coordinated and timely manner to realize revenue, co-ordinate with stakeholders (including and not withstanding RMs, Product, Sales Managers, local implementation staff, Client Service centres, Compliance etc.) to deliver the solutions within the earliest possible time, enhance productivity and sustain high quality client-centric service culture.
In addition, the IM will ensure that the Implementation and Post-Implementation processes are delivered on the objectives of the Bank and are best-in-class.  He/She will manage the Customer Implementation in line with quality and time and achieve highest level of customer satisfaction as result. The candidate will report to the Head of Client Service and Sales Support (Middle Office).

Focus - Strong Transaction Banking background with at least 7 years of project management and client service experience with large companies (>$1bn sales) – able to navigate through a complex global organization and deal with senior management 
Assist the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Sales team with the on-boarding on new/existing client relationships, including but not limited to: 
  • Act as a dedicated IM with the client, sales/ FO team, Product Management, CORI/ GLFI bankers, credit, risk and other business partners 
  • Creates and maintains support documentation along with a bespoke project plan to ensure implementation of a new deal occurs in line with time, budget and quality expectations
  • Manages and develops the implementation functions and on-boarding responsibilities in line with the Local and/or Regional implementation standards
  • Creates and maintains required documentation/manuals to work towards standardizing implementation processes.
  • Seeks ongoing improvements to the complex implementation processes especially cross border deals
  • Ensure Credit/Risk recommendations, Compliance, KYC Procedures and other GTB Procedures Guidelines / Manuals are implemented and adhered to
  • Supports Sales and RMs (when required) during the bidding process
  • Develop a close relationship with customer throughout the pre, mid and post implementation stages
  • Coordinate and impulse the tasks from the different stakeholders to ensure a smooth progression of the implementation project.
  • Work with client and the Client's product partners in obtaining all necessary support documentation and ensure pricing is in line with standards
  • Some travel and client visits with GTB Sales and/or CORI/GLFI/MARK bankers when appropriate 
  • Other responsibilities can be assigned 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking or relevant field (MS/MBA a plus)
  • Six Sigma – Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation (not required but a plus) 
  • A Member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) - Certified Treasury Professional Designation (not required but a plus)
  • Strong Transaction Banking background with at least 7 years of project management and client service experience with large companies (>$1bn sales) – able to navigate through a complex global organization and deal with senior management  
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships with clients – a strong internal network will be critical to success 
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and proactive approach with clients and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
  • Broad financial services product knowledge across US and International cash management, Trade Products (including Commercial and Standby LC's), Operations/ Funds Control and FX 
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, written communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and handling complex situations and ‘think out of the box’ 
  • Superb attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Comfortable working in an environment that is evolving and subject to change 
  • Understanding of Compliance and KYC processes 
  • Strong Microsoft office. Project Management skills including Excel, GANT skills, and PowerPoint
  • Technical skills to help clients on host to host solutions.  Not required but would help when working with the international implementation teams in Paris on SwiftNet offers, etc
