These are not systems analysts, but ideally they have experience supporting HR systems and supporting HR processes. They would not be doing systems configurations or testing—they are Tier 1 support – meaning that as we bring on La Quinta to our HR systems and processes, these contractors will be the Tier 1 support for systems users – answering the phone to address questions from our business partners and people managers on property such as General Managers. They should have some familiarity with HR processes and systems to be the most effective at this support but they don’t need extensive system programming or configuration experience. They must be able to communicate clearly and effectively on the phone, with good customer service orientation. They will be able to turn to our systems analysts for information, but they must be able to understand processes in the systems well enough to help troubleshoot effectively as the front line for HRMS. They ideally should also be able to create or update tickets in our ticketing system.
