Citizens is moving a web application from Web Forms to Microsoft MVC. They are looking for an ASP.NET developer (4-5 years experience) with JQuery and SQL Server 2008 experience. Knowledge of MVC and Web Forms needed. Looking for resource to work in Medford, MA (possibly Boston). After a month or so there might be the option to work 1 day remote. Candidate will be required to take a coding test as part of the interview process

Work with the Credit Services IT group to design and build technical solutions for web-enabled applications and provide general technical support expertise to a large group of users. Participate in the full software development life-cycle (SDLC), from gathering functional specifications, to analyzing existing code, designing and documenting, to coding and testing, and post implementation support. Utilize web development frameworks, scripting languages and database platforms, including ASP.NET, MVC, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, XTML and MS SQL Server. Design and implement web pages and controls with complex functionality. Design, develop and maintain web services. Design and develop the underlying database objects, including database models, functions and stored procedures. Create data mapping of new fields to existing or new data sources. Utilize SQL Server to produce T-SQL scripts for schema changes, stored procedures, views, and data changes. Analyze the effects of database changes on data quality, application performance, and interfaces with external systems. Work with business analysts, other developers and QA testers to ensure successful implementation of the technical solutions.
Requirements: Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or related business systems analyst position. Will also accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the position offered or related business systems analyst position. Two (2) years of experience must involve core financial or risk management IT/processing systems, databases, and network capabilities. Experience and understanding of risk data and technology, specifically ‘best practice’ in risk systems design and development. Strong experience with complex financial business rule analysis and implementation, business focused web-based UI development, and data analysis and validation. Experience must include performing IT systems analysis and participating in full SDLC in developing solutions for financial services risk management; converting written documentation into high-quality functional code; developing web services; programming in ASP, ASP.NET, MVC, Javascript/JQuery and T-SQL; and utilizing Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, Team Foundation Server, and Internet Information Server software and MS SQL databases. Special Skills: • Takes responsibility to identify and address potential risks • Effective communicator; needs to work with other developers, testers, BAs, PMs and partners from other risk and technology teams • Team player / collaborator within and across groups with experience building consensus • Task oriented, with the skills to manage time effectively in order to meet strict deadlines • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, with the intellectual stamina to jump into projects at any point in the SDLC • Business Analysis experience is a plus
